The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1(a) To issue a writ of mandamus or any other writ or writs, direction or directions commanding upon the respondent authorities specially Respondent no.2 for hearing and disposal of revision application dated 01.08.2023 filed by the petitioner against the

Patna High Court CWJC No.14391 of 2023(2) dt.30-04-2024 2/3 order dated 12.07.2023 passed by the (Respondent no.3) District Magistrate cum Second Appellate Authority, Public Grievance Officer, Arwal who has given clean chit to respondent no.8 who was wrongly and illegally selected as Chairman (Adhyaksh) of Ward Implementation and Managing Committee of Ward no.2 of Gram Panchayat Raj Rampur Chai, Karpi. Further Respondent no.3 has also ignored the embezzlement done by Respondent no.8 to 10 in implementation of "Nal-Jal" Scheme which was duly pointed out by the SubDivisional Public Grievance Redressal Officer Arwal in his order dated 21.10.2022 and had recommended for punitive action against defaulter by Panchayati Raj Officer, Arwal."

2. At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks a direction upon the respondent no.2 i.e. the Commissioner, Magadh Division, Gaya to dispose off the revision application, filed by the petitioner on 01.08.2023.

3. The learned counsel for the respondent-State submits that in case the aforesaid revision application, filed by the petitioner is still pending consideration, the same would definitely be disposed off, within a stipulated time frame, as is fixed by this Court, however, it be observed that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, I deem it fit and proper to direct the respondent no.2 i.e. the Commissioner, Magadh Division, Gaya to dispose off the aforesaid revision application, filed by the petitioner, in case the same is still pending, by passing a reasoned and a speaking order, in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks of receipt/production of a copy of this order.

5. The writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
