The petitioner has filed the present writ application for the following reliefs:

"(i) That this application is being filed for issuance of a writ of Mandamus directing / commanding the Respondents Authorities for payment of Group Insurance amount at the rate of 12% compoundable interest as per direction of this Hon'ble Court, reported in 2006 (4) PLJR 369.

(ii) That this application is being filed for issuance of a writ of Mandamus directing / commanding the Respondents to make payment differential amount of arrears of salary on account of revision of pay scale with 12% Penal interest from due date till date of payment made in the light of judicial

Patna High Court CWJC No.19192 of 2018(4) dt.08-06-2020 2/2 order passed by this Hon'ble Court."

Counsel for the petitioner has placed reliance on Annexure-4 Series to contend that the same issue was decided by a Co-ordinate Bench of this Court in C.W.J.C. No. 18198 of 2010 dated 10.12.2012, C.W.J.C. No. 18336 of 2010 and other analogous cases dated 07.05.2013.

In order to maintain consistency, the writ application is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to take appropriate decision on the same line (Annexure-4 Series) and grant all monetary benefits to the petitioner. Necessary decision in this regard must be taken by the respondents within a maximum period of three months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, failing which the arrears will carry interest at the rate of 9% per annum from the date of filing of writ application till the date of actual payment.

With the aforesaid, the writ application stands disposed of.
