This is a petition for grant of regular bail for offence under Section 382/34 of the Indian Penal Code. The petitioner and others were apprehended while they had robbed to the informant.

Submission on behalf of the petitioner is that though there is allegation of robbery, however, nothing was recovered from possession of the petitioner. The petitioner is in custody since 18.08.2016. Further submission is that so far recovery of firearm from possession of the petitioner is concerned, a separate case was lodged. The record reveals that the petitioner is accused in several cases.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.17324 of 2017 (3) dt.16-05-2017 2/2 Considering the aforesaid facts, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Hence, his prayer for bail is refused in connection with Siwan Town P.S. Case No. 486/2016. However, the petitioner may renew his prayer for bail, if the trial is not concluded within nine months from today.
