The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 302, 120B of the Indian Penal Code.

Earlier prayer for bail of the petitioner was thrice rejected by this Court.

In pursuance to the order dated 04.01.2023, status report of trial in connection with Parsa P.S. Case No. 161 of 2019 has been received and kept at Flag-R, in which it is reported that the trial is likely to be concluded within a period of two months.

Considering the present stage of the trial, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, his payer for bail is rejected in connection with Sessions Trial No. 572 of 2019 arising out of Parsa P.S. Case No. 161 of 2019 pending

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.63603 of 2022(5) dt.12-04-2023 2/2 before the court of the learned Additional Sessions Judge-VII, Saran at Chapra.

Accordingly, the application is dismissed. However, Trial Court is directed to conclude the trial as expeditiously as possible within a period of four months from today and S. S.P., Saran at Chapra is directed to ensure production of the witnesses in the case on each and every date fixed without fail. If the trial is not concluded within the stipulated period as aforesaid, the learned court below would be at liberty to release the petitioner on bail on its own satisfaction.
