JUSTICE RAJEEV RANJAN PRASAD ORAL ORDER 16-08-2018 Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that during the pendency of the writ application police has submitted charge-sheet and supplementary charge-sheet against some of the accused.

Considering the nature of the offences alleged and the number of persons said to be involved in the same, police is still conducting the investigation.

Learned counsel for the State is present and submits that the entire investigation will be concluded within a short time.

Patna High Court Cr. WJC No.1052 of 2016 (2) dt.16-08-2018 Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, let the writ application be disposed off with a direction to the Superintendent of Police, Saran at Chapra to ensure that the investigation of the case which is pending since the year 2016 must be concluded within a period of three months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
