2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in N.C.B. Case No. 08 of 2022, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 8(c), 20(b)(ii)(c), 25, 29 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act.

3. As per the prosecution case, 198 KG of Ganja has been recovered from inspection building of Irrigation Department.

4. It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that nothing has been recovered from conscious possession of this petitioner. Name of petitioner transpired in this case during course of investigation on the basis of confessional statement of

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.72735 of 2022(6) dt.21-09-2023 2/2 co-accused Manoj Singh. Petitioner claims clean antecedent.

5. Counsel for Union of India vehemently opposed the prayer for bail and submitted that there is recovery of commercial quantity of Ganja and the co-accused has admitted the involvement of this petitioner in the alleged occurrence.

6. Considering the nature of allegation and quantity of recovery, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner abovenamed on bail. Accordingly, the same is rejected. (Prabhat Kumar Singh, J) vinita/- U T
