Let the defect(s), if any, be removed within a period of four weeks after complete start of the physical Court. The petitioners seek bail in connection with Excise Complaint Case No. 362-C2 of 2021 registered under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2018. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are in custody since 31.10.2021, charge-sheet has been submitted and petitioner no.1 has two antecedents and petitioner no.2 is a person with clean antecedent and allegation is of recovery of 171 litres of foreign liquor from a Bolero

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are neither the owner nor the driver of the vehicle and had taken lift and came to be arrested.

Learned APP opposes the bail application.

Considering the fact that the petitioners are in custody, charge-sheet has been submitted and taking into consideration the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioners, the petitioners, named above, are directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.2,000/- (Rupees two thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Additional Sessions Judge-II, Jamui in connection with Excise Complaint Case No. 362-C2 of 2021.
