The petitioner seeks bail in Complaint Case No. 505 of 2011 registered under Section 498A of the Indian Penal Code. The complainant alleged that her husband drove her out from the house for the demand of additional dowry. Leanred counsel for the petitioner submits that the marriage was solemnized about 15 years ago. No occurrence as alleged by the complainant has ever taken place. The petitioner is still ready to keep his wife. The petitioner is in jail since 18.02.2017.
Considering the facts aforesaid and the nature of allegation made against the petitioner and the fact that the
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.18769 of 2017 (2) dt.26-04-2017 2/2 petitioner being the husband of the complainant has remained in jail for more than two months, the above named petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Gaya in connection with Complaint Case No. 505 of 2011.
