Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P. for the State.

The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Basantpur (Lakri Nabiganj) PS Case No. 238 of 2024 registered for the offences punishable under Section 366A of the Indian Penal Code. 3.

In the nature of allegation as alleged in the FIR, the Court is not inclined to extend the privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner, as also during the course of investigation, it has come that the victim came back and her statement was recorded under Section 164 Cr.P.C wherein she has supported the case of the prosecution and has stated that she was intoxicated and thereafter the petitioner kidnapped her.

Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected.
