This is an application for bail in connection with Kankarbagh P.S. Case No. 108 of 2017 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 290/34 of the Indian Penal Code and 3, 4, 5 & 6 of Immoral Traffic Act and 30(a) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

Allegation against the petitioner is that she along with other co-accused person is running sex racket. It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that petitioner has falsely been implicated in this case and only on the basis of confession of co-accused her name has come and she is in custody since 21.2.2017.

Heard learned APP also, who has opposed the prayer

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.18926 of 2017 (2) dt.26-04-2017 for anticipatory bail.

Having heard both sides and in view of the fact that there is direct allegation against the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

However, learned trial court is directed to expedite the trial of the petitioner, if possible, on day-to-day basis, so that the trial may be concluded within a period of six months. Otherwise petitioner is at liberty to renew her prayer for bail. Accordingly, this application is dismissed.
