Petitioner is languishing in custody for the offences punishable under Sections 272/273 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

From possession of the petitioner 25 liters of liquor was allegedly recovered. Petitioner has stated on oath that he has got single similar type of criminal antecedent.
