The grievance of the petitioner in the present writ application is non-consideration of his case for compassionate appointment in the light of the Apex Court judgment in the case of Mukesh Kumar & Anr. Vs. The State of Bihar & Ors. reported in (2017) 5 SCC 383.

Considering the law laid down by Apex Court in the case of Mukesh (Supra), the present writ application is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to take appropriate decision with regard to the claim of the petitioner in the light of the Apex Court judgment in case of Mukesh Kumar (supra) at
