For the Petitioner/s : Mr. Meeta Sinha For the Opposite Party/s : Mr. Sri Parmeshwar Mehta ====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE ARVIND SRIVASTAVA ORAL ORDER 21-06-2017 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.
Petitioner seeks bail in connection with Rajiv Nagar P.S. Case No. 25 of 2017 registered under Sections302/201 of the Indian Penal Code. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the deceased was suffering from depression due to strained relations with her husband and out of anger she committed suicide. On the date of occurrence petitioner was travelling to Bhopal and on getting the informant about the incident he came back and participated in the funeral. Petitioner is in custody since 06.02.2017.
Learned Addl. P.P. appearing for the State opposes
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.19725 of 2017 (3) dt.21-06-2017 2/2 the prayer for bail and submits that petitioner was instrumental in creating trouble in the matrimonial relations of the deceased. Dead body was disposed of without getting the post-mortem done and no information with regard to death was given to Police.
Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, and the submissions of advanced on behalf of the parties, I do not find it to be a fit case for grant of bail to the petitioner. His prayer for bail is, therefore, rejected.
