2. The grievance of the petitioner is only confined to the expeditious disposal of the claim of the petitioner and make payment of compensation amount towards acquisition of his land for construction of Mahatma Gandhi Central University Bihar, Motihari at earliest, as the reference was made way back in the year 2020 by the District Land Acquisition Officer, East Champaran, Motihari.
3. Learned Advocate for the petitioner contended that
Patna High Court CWJC No.13649 of 2024(2) dt.12-09-2024 2/2 the statutory period is prescribed to decide the reference within six months. However, despite the period being lapsed, the matter is pending before the Land Acquisition Rehabilitation and Resettlement Authority, Tirhut Division, Muzaffarpur, compelling him to approach before this Court.
4. Considering the nature of the grievance, this Court deems it proper to dispose off the writ petition with a direction to the respondent no. 3 to take up the claim of the petitioner and bring it to its logical conclusion, preferably within a period of three months, from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, after giving opportunity of hearing to all the stake holders.
5. The writ petition stands disposed off.
