Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the University would submit that the petitioner has been paid group insurance amounting to Rs1,11,036/- and also arrears of difference of salary for the period of January 2006 to February, 2014. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner with reference to Annexure-7 would submit that the petitioner has not been paid 12.5% per annum interest on the group insurance as adjudicated by this Court in CWJC No. 8700 of
Patna High Court CWJC No.19211 of 2018(4) dt.15-06-2020 2/2 2017.
Considering the aforesaid, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the authority of the University to make payment of interest at the rate of 12.5% per annm in terms of the order of this Court dated 24.01.2018 passed in CWJC No. 8700 of 2017. Necessary action as to the payment of interest on the amount of group insurance to the petitioner shall be taken within a maximum period of three months from the date of receipt /production of a copy of this order.
With the aforesaid, the present writ petition stands disposed of.
