Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P. for the State.

The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Benipatti P.S. Case No. 09 of 2021 lodged under Sections 498A, 323, 324, 308, 354(B) of the Indian Penal Code read with Section 3/4 of D.P. Act.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that vide order dated 06.06.2022 this case was referred for mediation to settle the dispute, mediation report attached with. Through the process of mediation, settlement could not takes place. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that this is

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.1594 of 2022(4) dt.02-08-2022 2/2 a case under Sections 498A, 323, 324, 308, 354(B) of the Indian Penal Code read with Section 3/4 of D.P. Act in which wife is the informant. He further submits that petitioner is the husband. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that wife of petitioner is in habit of filing criminal cases. There are three cases pending against him which was filed by the informant herself. He submits that petitioner is in custody since 24.09.2021. He also submits that he is always ready to settle the dispute with his wife. In all cases which has been filed by the wife petitioner is on bail except the present one. Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer for bail.

In the present facts and circumstances stated above, the provisional bail as granted vide order dated 06.06.2022 in connection with Benipatti P.S. Case no. 09 of 2021, is hereby confirmed on the same terms and conditions by which the provisional bail bond has been accepted.
