This application under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure has been filed by petitioners for quashing the first information report of Tiar P.S. Case No.13 of 2017 registered

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.20652 of 2017 dt.24-11-2017 under Sections 420, 467, 468, 471, 323, 504, 120-B read with 34 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 3(1)(r), 5(2)/3(2) and (VA) of the Scheduled Castes and Schedule Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act.

The allegations made in the first information report do attract ingredients of a cognizable offence.

In that view of the matter, I see no merit in this application.

The application is dismissed, accordingly.

However, it will be open to the petitioners to take appropriate steps in accordance with law if an adverse police report is submitted against them.
