Petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Complaint Case No. 855 of 2015 registered under Sections498A of the Indian Penal Code and section 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is ready to keep his wife with full honour and dignity but the complainant does not want to live with this petitioner. Petitioner has no criminal antecedent.

Learned Addl. P.P. appearing for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits that petitioner is the husband and is adamant not to keep the complainant. Allegation of demand of dowry is also there.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.48573 of 2016 (7) dt.19-06-2017 2/2 Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submission advanced on behalf of the parties, I do not feel inclined to grant the privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
