The petitioner seeks bail in Purnahiya P.S. case No. 12 of 2017 under Section 30(a), 33/36 of the Bihar Excise Act, 2016.

106 bottles each containing 375 ml. Royal Stag, 40 bottles each containing 180 ml. Royal Stag and 10 bottles each containing 750 ml. Indian made foreign liquor were recovered from the house of the petitioner.

It appears that about 55 liters of Indian made foreign liquor was recovered from the house of the petitioner and for that the petitioner is in jail since 10.03.2017. The petitioner has already remained in jail for about one and half months. Considering the facts aforesaid and the nature of
