The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Chhatapur P.S. Case No. 196 of 2021, registered for the offence under Section 392 of the Indian Penal Code.

As per FIR, three unknown miscreants looted cash and other articles of the informant.

Petitioner is not named in the FIR rather the name of the petitioner has transpired during course of investigation, in the self confessional statement recorded in connection with Supaul P.S. Case No. 431 of 2020. No looted article has been recovered from the conscious possession of the petitioner and till date petitioner has not been put on T.I. Parade. He is in custody since 16.07.2021.

Learned APP for the State has opposed the bail

Considering the period of custody and the fact that no looted article has been recovered from the conscious possession of the petitioner, the bail petition of the petitioner is allowed. Let the above named petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned C.J.M., Supaul, in connection with Chhatapur P.S.
