Patna High Court CWJC No.16030 of 2022(2) dt.05-04-2024 2/3 seeking the following relief:- "(i) For issuance of writ/writs, order/orders and direction/ directions in the nature of Mandamus commanding and directing the respondents authorities to hold re-medical test for selection of Home Guard Force in the district of Banka.

(ii) For issuance of further writ in the nature of Mandamus for commanding and directing the concerned respondents to select/appoint the petitioners on the post of Home Guard Force having requisite qualification and have also successfully completed the physical and medical test held for the said selection/appointment of Home Guard Force for the State of Bihar in pursuance of advertisement No.- 02/2011 as contained in Annexure-1 to this writ application."

After some arguments, the learned counsel for the petitioners seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioners to approach the respondent-authorities for redressal of their
