The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Ghoshi (Okari) P.S. Case No. 483 of 2021 instituted for the offences under Section 30(a) of the Excise Act.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 11.11.2021, is a person with clean antecedent and charge-sheet has been submitted in the case. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the allegation is of recovery of 35 litres of liquor from a gallon alleged to be carried by the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the present case, the gallon does not belong to the petitioner, the petitioner was a

Learned A.P.P. for the State opposes the prayer for bail of the petitioner.

Considering the fact that the petitioner is in custody, is a person with clean antecedent and charge-sheet has been submitted in the case, let the petitioner above named be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 500/- (Rupees Five Hundred) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge-II-cumSpecial Judge Excise, Jehanabad in connection with Ghoshi (Okari) P.S. Case No. 483 of 2021.
