The petitioner, who is in custody since 22.03.2019, seeks bail in connection with Naya Ram Nagar P.S. Case No. 85 of 2019 instituted for the offences under Sections 147, 148, 149, 307 and 302 of the Indian Penal Code.

It has been alleged in the FIR that the petitioner caught hold of two miscreants who were drunk and were found eve-teasing the girls. One of such persons died because of injuries suffered by him during course of assault and the other got seriously injured.

It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.58476 of 2019(3) dt.27-11-2019 2/2 several persons have been named in the FIR and the accusation against the petitioner is only of catching hold of the miscreants who had been eve-teasing the girls.

There is counter version of the case as well. The petitioner does not have any criminal case against him.

Considering these aspects of the matter, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate 1st, Munger in connection with Naya Ram Nagar P.S.
