2. The petitioner is in custody since 24.08.2023 in connection with Laheri P.S. Case No. 503/23 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

3. As per the prosecution case, 7 litres of illicit liquor has been recovered from the possession of the petitioner.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case due to village politics. He further submits that nothing has been recovered from the conscious possession of the petitioner. The petitioner is in custody since 24.08.2023.

5. In view of the aforementioned facts and circumstances and also the period of custody, let the petitioner above named be released on bail, on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional District Sessions Judge IV cum Special Judge, Excise 2nd Nalanda at Biharsharif in connection with Laheri P.S. Case No. 503/23.

6. The petitioner is directed to mark his attendance in Laheri Police Station on every Sunday of the month. (Sandeep Kumar, J) Saif/- U T
