JUSTICE ASHWANI KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 09-11-2015 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.

The petitioner seeks pre-arrest bail in connection with Punpun P.S. Case No.103 of 2015 registered under Sections 147, 148, 149, 323, 325, 307, 385, 504, 506 and 379 of the Indian Penal Code. Regard being had to the direct and specific allegation against the petitioner that he assaulted the informant with iron rod causing injury on his head, I am not inclined to grant him anticipatory bail. Accordingly, the application filed on behalf of the petitioner is rejected.

In case the petitioner surrenders and seeks bail, the same shall be considered on its own merits without being prejudiced in any manner by this order.
