JUSTICE RAKESH KUMAR ORAL ORDER 28-11-2016 Heard Sri Rajani Kant Singh, learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Addl. Public Prosecutor. Two petitioners, apprehending their arrest in Dinara P.S. Case No.139/2016 registered for the offence under Sections 498A, 307/34 of the Indian Penal Code, have prayed for grant of bail in the event of their arrest or surrender. It was submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that in the F.I.R. the informant has alleged that the petitioners, being father-in-law and mother-in-law, had put her on fire, fact remains that petitioners are not own father-in-law and mother-in-law of the informant. He submits that even in the F.I.R., the husband was not made accused. According to learned counsel

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.48244 of 2016 (3) dt.28-11-2016 2/2 for the petitioners, only with a view to grab the property of the petitioners, the present false case was instituted. At the time of hearing, it has been argued that during treatment, the informant, who had received burn injury, had died. In view of serious accusation levelled against both petitioners in the F.I.R., there is no reason to extend the privilege of anticipatory bail. The petition stands dismissed.
