The petitioner seeks bail in K. Hat (Sahayak) P.S. Case No. 168/2017, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 272, 273 of the Indian Penal Code and section 30(A) of the Bihar Prohibition & Excise Act, 2016.

The petitioner and Vikki Kumar were arrested as they were inside the car. 106 litres of liquor of different brands were recovered from the dickey of the card.

It appears that 02 persons were arrested and from their possession 106 litres of liquor was recovered for that the petitioner is in jail since 26.03.2017. The petitioner has already remained in jail for about one and half month and he has got no criminal antecedent.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.21341 of 2017 (2) dt.10-05-2017 Considering the facts aforesaid, the petitioner abovenamed, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Additional Sessions Judge IIcum-Special Judge Excise Act, Purnea in connection with K. Hat (Sahayak) P.S. Case No. 168/2017.
