2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Birpur P.S. Case No. 376/2023 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 366 A, 406, 34of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 8 and 17 of the POCSO Act.

3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner is accused of abducting the daughter of the informant.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in the present case. Learned counsel further submits that from the statement of the victim girl, it appears that she was in

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.67841 of 2025(5) dt.18-12-2025 2/2 relationship with the petitioner. Petitioner is a man with a clean antecedent and he is in custody since 17.07.2025. The petitioner undertakes to co-operate in the case/ trial.

5. Learned APP for the State has opposed the prayer for regular bail of the petitioner.

6. Considering the statement of the victim girl and the period of custody of the petitioner, this application for regular bail is allowed.

7. Accordingly, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional District Judge VI- cumSpecial Judge, POCSO Court, Supaul /concerned Court below in connection with Birpur P.S.
