2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Surajgarha P.S. Case No. 144 of 2022 registered for the offence under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 17.08.2023 and there is recovery of 30 litres of country made liquor from his possession.

4. Learned APP has vehemently opposed the prayer of bail.

5. Considering the period of custody and recovery of liquor from his possession, this application for regular bail is allowed.

6. Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.64367 of 2023(2) dt.11-10-2023 2/2 two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Addl. District & Sessions Judge-IV-cum-Special Judge, Excise1st, Lakhisarai in connection with Surajgarha P.S. Case No. 144 of 2022.
