The learned counsel for the petitioner, at the very outset, fairly submits that the appeal of the petitioner against the order of punishment dated 12.01.2018 is pending consideration before the Secretary, Education Department, Government of Bihar, Patna since 23.01.2018, hence the same be directed to be disposed of expeditiously.

Having regard to the limited submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the Secretary, Education Department to grant an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner herein and dispose of the pending appeal within a period of eight weeks from today.
