The petitioner seeks bail in Khanpur P.S. Case No. 24/2017, registered for the offences punishable under Section 30(A) of the Bihar Prohibition & Excise Amendment Act, 2016. The petitioner was apprehended on chase and on his disclosure 24 bottles each containing 375 ml and 48 bottles each containing 180 ml. Royal Stag Whiskey were recovered from a bush situated near the house of the petitioner. It is submitted that about 17-18 litres of whiskey was recovered and for that the petitioner is in jail since for last 02 months.

Considering the facts aforesaid, the petitioner abovenamed, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond
