The petitioner seeks bail in Garhpura P.S. Case No. 18/2017, registered for the offences punishable under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition & Excise Act, 2016. The petitioner was driving an Auto-Rickshaw. The police stopped him, but the person who was sitting on the back of the Auto-Rickshaw fled away. On search 288 bottles each containing 180 m.l. of Royal Stag Deluxe Whiskey was recovered. About 50 litres of Indian made foreign liquor was recovered from the Auto-Rickshaw of the petitioner and for that the petitioner is in jail 08.03.2017. The petitioner has already remained in jail for about two months.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.20481 of 2017 (2) dt.03-05-2017 Considering the facts aforesaid, the petitioner abovenamed, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate IV, Begusarai in connection with Garhpura P.S. Case No. 18/2017.
