The petitioner, who is in custody since 20.06.2019, seeks bail in connection with Shikarpur P.S. Case No. 188 of 2018 which has been instituted for the offence under Sections 394 and 307 of the Indian Penal Code and charge sheet has been submitted under Section 397 of the IPC and Section 27 of the Arms Act.

The FIR was registered against unknown and the name of the petitioner has surfaced in the confessional statement of one Dadan Pandey and two of the other cases

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.58474 of 2019(3) dt.27-11-2019 2/2 in which he has been made accused earlier has ended in acquittal whereas in other four cases, the petitioner is on bail. Till date, the petitioner has not been put on test identification parade.

Considering these aspects of the matter, the petitioner, above-named, is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bettiah, West Champaran in connection with Shikarpur P.S. Case No. 188 of 2018.
