HONOURABLE MR JUSTICE RAJIV ROY ORAL ORDER 25-09-2023 No one appears on behalf of the petitioners although

Patna High Court CWJC No.4143 of 2018(3) dt.25-09-2023 2/3 State is present.

2 Prayer is for the following reliefs:

"(I) for issuance of an appropriate writ in the nature of certiorari for quashing the letter dated 26.07.2016 issued under the signature of Respondent No 5 and contained in his notification No 1459 dated 26.07.2016 whereby and where under the Respondent Authorities have been pleased to cancel the panel of Accredited Statistical Volunteer which has resulted in termination of their engagement without drawing any proceeding against the petitioners and/or without providing to them an opportunity of being heard.

(II) for a declaration that if the Respondent Department have prepared the list of Accredited Statistical Volunteer after holding the eligibility examination on 21.04.2013, the Respondent Authorities are not justified to cancel the list resulting in termination of petitioners' engagement.

(III) for issuance of an appropriate writ in the nature of Mandamus commanding and directing the Respondent Authorities to permit the petitioners to discharge their duties for which they are selected after making due procedure of selection like advertisement, examination, preparation of panel etc.

(IV) For issuance of an appropriate writ in the nature of Mandamus commanding and directing the Respondent Authorities to make payment of monthly fixed remuneration to the petitioners.

(V) for issuance of an appropriate writ in the nature of Mandamus commanding and directing the Respondent Authorities to regularize the services of the petitioners pursuant to the policy decision of the State

(VI) for issuance of any other appropriate writ/writs, order/orders, direction/directions for which the writ petitioners would be found entitled under the facts and circumstances of the case."

3 On 30.03.2018, a coordinate Bench of this Court has adjourned the matter to be taken after disposal of LPA No 535 of 2017.

4 As per website of this Court, the said LPA No 535 of 2017 was dismissed on 17.04.2018.

5 In that view of the matter, no case is made out. 6 Since, no one appears on behalf of the petitioners, this writ petition is dismissed for non-prosecution. (Rajiv Roy, J) M.E.H./- U
