The petitioner is languishing in custody in connection with Baniyapur Police Station Case No. 202 of 2015 for offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 149, 341, 323 and 307 of the Indian Penal Code.

The petitioner has allegedly caused injury at the head of the father of the informant. The Doctor has found injury simple and lacerated on the parietal region of Tulsi Rai, father of the informant. The occurrence alleged of assault took place for land dispute. The petitioner is in custody since 4th September 2016. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, let the petitioner, Shiv Shankar Rai, is directed to be released on bail

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.49525 of 2016 (2) dt.21-12-2016 2/2 on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Sri Rakesh Kumar Yadav, Judicial Magistrate 1st class, Saran at Chapra/Successor Court in connection with Baniyapur Police Station Case No. 202 of 2015.
