This is a petition for grant of regular bail for offences under Sections 302, 120B and 34 of the Indian Penal Code and 27 of the Arms Act.

According to first information report, co-accused, Sujit Kumar Singh, fired at Dharmendra Kumar Singh, as a result whereof Dharmendra Kumar Singh died. The petitioner is not named in the first information report. The learned counsel for the informant opposed the prayer on the ground that name of the petitioner has transpired in the confessional statement of co-accused, Amod Singh.

Considering the aforesaid fact, the petitioner,

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.22132 of 2017 (2) dt.09-05-2017 2/2 above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each in connection with Sessions Trial No. 27 of 2017 arising out of Sasaram (Mufassil) P.S. Case No. 1254 of 2016 to the satisfaction of the Additional Sessions Judge, VII, Rohtas at Sasaram, or successor Court.
