For the Petitioner/s : Mr. Manish Kumar No 13, Advocate For the Opposite Party/s : None ====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE ASHWANI KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 06-07-2017 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.
Despite valid service of notice, on repeated calls, nobody appears on behalf of the State.
The petitioner seeks pre-arrest bail in connection with Laheriasarai P. S. Case No.64 of 2017 registered under Sections 363, 365, 341, 324, 307, 323, 379/34 of the Indian Penal Code.
Considering the serious nature of allegation that the petitioner and others forcibly abducted the informant and assaulted him with iron rod and knife coupled with the fact that the petitioner has got criminal antecedent, I am not inclined to
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.21050 of 2017 (2) dt.06-07-2017 2/2 grant him pre-arrest bail. Accordingly, his prayer for grant of pre-arrest bail is rejected.
However, in case the petitioner surrenders and seeks bail, the same shall be considered on its own merit without being prejudiced in any manner by this order. (Ashwani Kumar Singh, J.) Kanchan/- U T
