The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 149, 341, 323, 324, 307, 504, 506 of the Indian Penal Code.

It is alleged against the petitioner that he along with co-accused Ravi Mishra used to give threat to the employees of the P.H.C, Sugauli and demanding money by showing themselves as journalists. It is further alleged that on 08.04.2021 at about 11.30 A.M, when the informant being In-charge, Medical Officer, P.H.C,

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.1881 of 2022(2) dt.14-06-2022 2/3 Sugauli was engaged in meeting with his subordinate employees, the petitioner along with other accused persons forcibly entered in the office and misbehaved with the informant and other officials and threatened of dire consequences.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that petitioner has falsely been implicated in this case. The petitioner is a reporter of Champaran Today News Network Pvt. Ltd and when he disclosed the corruption and mal-practice during COVID-19 pandemic, this false case has been lodged against him. The petitioner has not demanded any money to any employee of the P.H.C. A statement has been made in para 3 of the petition that petitioner is accused in two other cases in which he is on bail.

In the facts and circumstance of the case, let the petitioner, above named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the Court below within a period of four weeks from today, be released on anticipatory bail on
