2. The present writ petition has been filed for the following reliefs:- " For issuance of a writ in the nature of 'Mandamus'

commanding and directing the respondents authority to make payment of dues amount of Rs.

29,88,940/- to the petitioner with interest @ 18% against the work done by the petitioner as per work order

Patna High Court CWJC No.15089 of 2024(3) dt.12-12-2024 2/3 issued by the respondent during Panchayat Election-2021 in the District of Nalanda."

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner has stated that in spite of supplying various items during the Panchayat Election, 2021, the respondents have not paid the amounts due to the petitioner. Learned counsel has stated that in spite of giving representations dated 01.09.2023, 07.09.2023, 08.09.2023 and 20.09.2023, the authorities are not paying the amount due to the petitioner. Learned counsel has stated that an amount of approximately Rs. 29,88,940/- is due from the respondents. Therefore, learned counsel has prayed that a direction may be given to the authorities to dispose of the representation made by the petitioner and the amount due may be paid.

4. Per contra learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents has stated that the authority may be directed to dispose of the said representation and suitable orders passed.

Having regard to the above made submissions, without going into the merits or demerits of the case the present CWJC is disposed of directing the Respondent No. 2 i.e. the Collector cum District Election Officer (Panchayat), Biharsharif at Nalanda, District Nalanda to consider the representations made by the petitioner and pass necessary orders on its own

6. It is needless to mention that before passing any order the petitioner shall be put on notice and given an opportunity of hearing. The entire exercise shall be completed as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of the representation made by the petitioner. Any order passed shall be communicated to the party. If the District Magistrate come to the conclusion that the claims of the petitioner merits consideration and any amounts are payable, the same shall be paid immediately.

7. With the above direction, the present writ petition stands disposed of.
