1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P. for the State.

2. The petitioner apprehends her arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 80, 61(2) and 3(5) of the BNS.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is a person with clean antecedent and is a woman and the informant alleges that his daughter was married to Navin Tiwari @ Golu Tiwari, son of the petitioner on 23.04.2024. After marriage, the petitioner along with Nitu Devi, who are in foreign country, used to torture the daughter of the informant for dowry along with Binod Tiwari and Ajay Tiwari on phone, thus, alleges that accused persons got her daughter killed.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner, being the mother-in-law of the deceased, has been

It is further submitted that from perusal of the allegation as alleged in the FIR, it would manifest that petitioner was staying abroad and informant alleges that on phone the victim was being tortured for dowry but then it is submitted that the FIR does not even remotely disclose as to what was being demanded in dowry. It is next submitted that no doubt an unfortunate occurrence took place but then petitioner was not present at the place of occurence and it is the duty of the husband to ensure the welfare of his wife. It is also submitted that the husband of the deceased is in custody since 22.07.2025. It is submitted that Nitu Devi along with two others had approached this Court seeking anticipatory bail by filing Cr. Misc. No. 84169 of 2024 and the same was allowed by a learned Coordinate Bench of this Court by an order dated 28.07.2025, thus, petitioner based on parity seeks anticipatory bail.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner.

6. Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, let the petitioner above-named, in the event of her arrest or surrender before the learned trial court within a period of six weeks from today, be released on
