2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Phulwarisharif P.S. Case No. 80 of 2023 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 384, 385 and 387/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, extortion was demanded from one restaurant owner at the instance of one Jatha Singh and he has now been killed. The petitioner is the brother of Jatha Singh.

4. It has been submitted on behalf of learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is not involved in criminal activity but because he is the brother of Jatha Singh, he has been made an accused in number of cases. The petitioner has

5. Learned APP appearing for the State opposes the prayer for regular bail of the petitioner.

6. Accordingly, the application is allowed.

7. Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned ACJM-XIV, Patna in connection with Phulwarisharif P.S. Case No. 80 of 2023.

8. The petitioner will also mark attendance in Naugutpur Police Station on the first and third Sunday of every month.
