Learned counsel for the petitioner is permitted to remove defect(s), as pointed out by the office, if any, within a period of four weeks from today.

This application for anticipatory bail arises out of Uphara P.S. Case No. 80 of 2020 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 147, 148, 149 & 302 of the Indian Penal Code and under Section 27 of the Arms Act.

The petitioner is accused in a case in which a persons was brutally assaulted and has died. There is counter case also. The petitioner is said to have sustained injury which goes to show that he has participated in the occurrence. During investigation, materials have also come to support the fact that the petitioner has participated in the killing of the deceased in most brutal manner.
