The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Sugauli P.S. Case No. 639 of 2020 registered for the offence under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act. Recovery is of 60 litres of illicit liquor.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 24.07.2023 and has 8 criminal antecedents.

Considering the period of custody and the recovery of liquor, this application for regular bail is allowed. Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.66846 of 2023(2) dt.16-10-2023 2/2 learned Exclusive Special Excise Court No.-I, East Champaran, Motihari in connection with Sugauli P.S. Case No. 639 of 2020. The petitioner will visit Sugauli Police Station on the first Sunday of each month. Any default in appearance at the Police Station would result in cancellation of bail bond of the petitioner.
