Apprehending their arrest in Matihani P.S. Case No. 94 of 2016 registered under sections 307 and 357 IPC, the petitioners have filed the present application for grant of anticipatory bail. It is submitted that the petitioners were not those who were teasing the ladies/girls while they were taking bath in the river. It is alleged against them that when the informant went to complain the matter they mishandled him.

Learned APP, on the other hand, submits that in a very highhanded manner the accuseds were involved in commission of

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.54475 of 2016 (2) dt.22-12-2016 2/2 crime inasmuch as they assaulted the informant with Lathi, Danda, iron rod etc.

Looking to the nature of the allegations and other materials reflecting from the records, I am not persuaded to extend the petitioners the privilege of anticipatory bail. Prayer is accordingly rejected.
