Petitioner is in jail custody since 9.7.2015 on the accusation that one country made katta and 12 live cartridges were recovered from his conscious possession.

Earlier prayer for bail of the petitioner was rejected by this court taking note of the aforesaid fact as well as his criminal antecedent but submission on behalf of the petitioner is that up till now not a single prosecution witness could be examined which is evident from the order dated 30.3.2017 passed by Addl. Sessions Judge V, Begusarai in B.A. no. 466/2017.

Considering the period of detention of the petitioner in jail custody as well as facts and circumstances of the case, let the petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs 10,000/-
