1. In compliance of the order of this Court, dated 18.09.2018, passed in C.W.J.C. No.7606 of 2016, ultimately the contemnors have issued a notification dated 04.10.2023, under

Patna High Court MJC No.3604 of 2019(12) dt.06-10-2023 2/2 the pen and signature of the Registrar, Lalit Narayan Mithila University, Darbhanga, whereby and whereunder the petitioners have been promoted to the post of Reader with effect from 21.09.1995 and it is submitted that all the consequential benefits shall also be paid within a period of four weeks, from today.

2. Accordingly, the learned counsel for the petitioners does not wish to press the present contempt petition, hence the same stands disposed off.
