Petitioner is in custody since 21.09.2016 in connection with C.A. Case No. 140 of 2015 registered under Sections 498-A of the Indian Penal Code.

Accusation is of assault and torture.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted the petitioner was granted provision bail by the court below for three months on the pretext of compromise arrived at between the parties. Due to non appearance in the court below, his bail bond has been cancelled by the court below. Further, the petitioner has never ousted the complainant and her children and he is still ready to keep the complainant and his children with full dignity and honour. Statement to
