The petitioner, who retired on 30.06.2017 on attaining the age of superannuation from the post of Plumbing Mechanic in the department of Public Health Engineering, Government of Bihar, has preferred this writ petition seeking a direction to the respondent authorities for payment of pension and other retrial benefits of the petitioner.

3. In paragraph nos. 9, 10, 11 and 14 of the counter affidavit, filed on behalf of respondent nos. 1 and 5, it has been stated that the group insurance, G.P.F., leave encashment,

Patna High Court CWJC No.123 of 2022(3) dt.21-02-2024 2/2 pension and gratuity of the petitioner have been paid. In paragraph no.15 of the said counter affidavit, it has further been stated that admissible retiral benefits of the petitioner has already been paid.

4. Though, counter affidavit on behalf of respondent nos. 1 and 5 was filed on 09.11.2022, but no rejoinder has been filed by the petitioner denying the correctness of the statements made in the said counter affidavit.

5. In view of the above, since the relief, sought for by the petitioner, appears to have been granted by the respondent authorities, as highlighted in the counter affidavit filed on behalf of respondent nos. 1 and 5, as discussed hereinabove, this writ petition stands disposed of as infructuous.
