Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the State.
This is a petition for grant of regular bail for offence under Section 30(k) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016. Allegation is that country made liquor was recovered from the possession of the petitioners. The petitioners have stated on oath that they have got no criminal antecedent and are in custody since 11.03.2017.
Considering the period already undergone and the facts that the petitioners are first offenders of this nature, let the petitioners, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.20,000/- (rupees twenty thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each in connection with Nauhatta P.S. Case No. 13 of 2017 to the satisfaction of the Mr. Kavindra Kumar, Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Dehri, Rohtas, or successor Court.
