JUSTICE SANJAY PRIYA ORAL ORDER 22-05-2017 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. The petitioner seeks bail in Jakkanpur P.S. Case No. 86 of 2017 instituted for the offence under Sections-30(a)/38 of the Bihar Excise Act, 2016.
It has been submitted that foreign liquor was recovered from house of one Nagendra Rai. This petitioner along with others is alleged to have run the business of selling foreign liquor from the house of said Nagendra Rai. The seizure list is enclosed with the FIR wherein it has been mentioned that the aforesaid recovery was made from the house of co-accused Nagendra Rai. In such circumstances, prayer for bail is allowed and the petitioner named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.24131 of 2017 (2) dt.22-05-2017 2/2 sureties of the like amount each in connection with Jakkanpur P.S. Case No. 86 of 2017 to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge, Excise, Patna subject to condition that both the bailors should be close relatives of the petitioner.
